Six Mile Track - walk completed

From Delma:

The plan is to walk 45kms from Katoomba to Jenolan Caves via the Six Foot Track. It is graded as hard and normally takes 3 days.

If anybody is interested they are welcome to contact me and we can organise a time during the second and/or third week of November.

Perhaps if time and weather permits we can do a couple of other short walks whilst in the area.
Thanks, Delma

Long weekend trip - Nadgee- Oct 2, 2009

Walk: Long weekend trip - Nadgee
Date: Oct 2, 2009
Area: South
Description: This Nadgee walk could be altered slightly so as to better fit intending participants by increasing the walk to 4 nights (instead of 3 nights) and maybe moving it forward or back 1 or 2 days.
There maybe no interest in this multiday walking, but the walk is on for a group of 2 to 7. An information sheet will be available for participants sometime before the walk.
National Parks would like $5 per person per night (probably Around Easter) to book the limited people spaces available.
This walk is for fit and experienced multiday bushwalkers.
Long trousers recommended, some wading necessary, food for 1 extra day should be taken.
Available water could be of poor quality.

Distance: 55k
Grade: moderate hard (wfp very hard)
Terrain: roads, scrub, foot tracks, beach, rocks
Meeting Point: Eden round-a-bout
